Automotive Call Center (BDC) Rep

Southern Maine Motors, located on busy Route 1 in Saco is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our BDC (Business Development Center)

This is a call center environment, where you will be expected to handle up to 100 calls each day, with the goal of scheduling appointments for our customers. Strong closing skills are necessary!

  • Making outbound calls to customers who have inquired over the internet about a vehicle, with the expectation of setting an appointment.
  • Outbound calls to existing customers to ensure that their experience was excellent, escalating any issues to the Sales Manager for resolution.
  • Outbound calls to customer who are qualified for special offers or promotions, with the goal of scheduling appointments for the sales department.
  • Calling existing service customers to schedule appointments in situations where an open recall has been announced, or scheduling work that was previously declined.

We are looking for individuals who have previous call center, or previous BDC experience. This is a fast paced position that requires focus, excellent phone skills, ability to listen, take notes and follow-up with customers in a timely fashion. Pay is Hourly, based on experience + Bonuses for Shown appointments, appointments that sell, as well as other bonuses per the Sales Manager Interested individuals may forward their resume for consideration.

Finance Manager


We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager! Currently selling 140+ units and still growing!

Overview:

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager sells new and used car buyers financing and insurance programs. Also works with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs.

F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards while producing profits that meets or exceeds dealership forecast.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with the dealer principal and/or general manager and/or general sales manager to determine which lenders and suppliers of finance products will best be able to meet the criteria set by the Finance Department. Requires direct interaction with the customer. After establishing a rapport with the customer, the finance manager reviews the customer's credit application and credit report and discusses the available finance options to meet their needs. Presents available product options to the customer, such as vehicle service agreements, paint protection, key replacement, and other programs designed to protect the customer's investment. Minimizes chargeback liabilities by thoroughly explaining F&I options and products, disclosing all aspects of the sale, including finance charges and interest rates. Prepares the delivery documentation, including the preparation of the loan documents, DMV paperwork and other legal forms required by state and federal regulatory bodies. Ensure that all finance paperwork is fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines prior to submitting completed documentation to lenders for approval. Checks all deals for proper documentation before sent to accounting. Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts. Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability. Consistently meets monthly objectives and maintains back end gross average as forecasted. Maintain required certifications and licensing for the position. Insures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Attends financial statement review meetings when required.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, communicate well verbally and in writing, manage time effectively, and be detail oriented. Excellent customer handling skills, moderate computer skills. Basic automotive knowledge. Maintain a professional personal appearance.

Prior Finance & Insurance experience required, preferably from a licensed automotive dealership. Must have a valid driver's license.
